Lighting Minimalism

I realized I never posted on LinkedIn before and perhaps I should start taking better advantage of this platform to track my own progress in professional work and skills. So welcome to my little TED talks. If I have no readers, I'll just force my mom to read these and reassure my self-esteem.

A few weeks ago, a couple clients wished to film an interview but keep the production at a minimum. In other words, no lights!

This is always a challenge for me since I usually throw up lights everywhere, even when they aren't necessary just because I love lights so much! But it's always nice to go back to basics at times and by eliminating one element of the production, it allowed me to focus on improving other aspects like sound and production design.

Ultimately, it was a fun experience to remove a crucial element of my workflow and see if I could still make something that didn't look like poo poo... Can I say "poo poo" on LinkedIn?
